Serving Neighbors & Nations Page
About
In Matthew chapter twenty, the bible tells us that Jesus came to serve and not to be served. As disciples of Jesus, we believe that serving is essential to the christian life and yet in churches across America 80% of the work usually falls on 20% of the people. As Warren Grovetown gathers for worship, we desire to embrace a culture in which each member actively commits to serve one hour and attend service the other hour each week.
Neighbors
You don’t have to be a world traveler to make a difference in the world. You can start in your own community. In fact, Jesus told his followers to start in their hometown and move out from there. Connect with a Life Group for opportunities to serve in your community.
FREE OIL CHANGE SATURDAY
A couple times during the year we offer a free oil change to single moms and wives of deployed military. You can serve in a variety of ways. For more info, click here or contact the Mission Ministry, 706.922.7038, missions@warrenbaptist.org.
Nations
Warren not only serves in our local community, but in many locations across the United States and globally through mission trips and disaster relief opportunities. For upcoming trips and opportunities to serve, visit warrenintheworld.com.
Families On Mission
We are honored to have sent some of our own Warren Grovetown families on Mission around the world. Check out the stories of the Spragg family and Wilkins family!
